I have professional working experience in two countries. Most of my experience is in the United States. And I lived/worked in Beijing, China from January to July 2022. I also spent a year teaching online for my school in Beijing.
In addition to my time in China, I completed my second teaching practicum (similar to a student teaching experience) in Greece. For one month (December 2009 to January 2010), I traveled around Greece and spent time in various school settings and worked with students from various backgrounds. This time included experience in school settings to include public schools, private schools, and schools for children of Romanis.
In 2013, I attended a multi day Test Item Bank Workshop. During this workshop experience, I learned how to write high quality assessment questions in various forms that will effectively assess student's knowledge of a topic. This experience was a game changer for me as an educator and it forever changed the way I wrote and gave assessments to my students.
